About 20 riders left Borgo Valsugana this morning with the temperature for the first time during our tour around zero… but with a beautiful sun and a blue sky.
The first stop was in the main square of Trento, where the bicycle champion Francesco Moser and Marika Ferrari, the town councillor to the Environment of Trento Municipality, were waiting for us for a warm welcome and a short exchange of views on the importance of COP21.
We’d also like to thank our friends of the “March for the Climate” that helped us to organize this event and for their effort to have a big March in Trento the 29 of November.
After a warm drink of local brûlée (mulled wine) and a few km where we rode together with Francesco Moser, we took the direction of Bolzano. Along our way Gigi, Renato and Gianluca stopped to take a train back home. It has been a real pleasure to have such a good time chatting and riding with them.
At 17.00 we had our evening event on energy at Eurac in Bolzano, even with the participation of Casa Clima and Tis Innovation.
After that Alice and Mauro took their way back home and tomorrow morning another six friends will leave us, including the riders Bepi, Piero and Caterina, before going to Glorenza, where the following day also Paolo will leave us. After that only the eight of us will go on until the end of the journey. But we expect to meet more people in the following days interested in Ride With Us.
